Help Us Help Orphaned Pets!
The Humane Society of Northwest Montana is hosting its monthly volunteer orientation at their adoption center on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11a.m. The one-hour introductory session is open to the public and registration is not required. So, if you would like to learn how you can help orphaned cats or dogs, make plans to attend. Located at 100 Adopt A Pet Way, off Hwy 93 between Kalispell and Whitefish, the Humane Society is home to the Charlotte Edkins Animal Adoption Center.
The Humane Society’s volunteer program is available to adults who are at least 16 years old. Volunteers are needed to assist with animal care & exercise, community education, reception area/client relations, fundraising, special events, dog walking, and cat grooming. “Free” Pet Dental Consultations
Because dental care is vital to a pet’s overall health and the month of February is designated as National Pet Dental Health Month, theHumane Society of Northwest Montana would like to share the good news that Dr. Jevon Clark and our friends at the Animal Clinic of Kalispell are offering “free” pet dental exams for the remainder of February. And if that’s not enough to motivate you to make an appointment for your pet, if your pet needs dental work as a result of the consultation and you have the dental work done before the end of the month, you’ll also receive a 10% discount off the total dental invoice.
