Biggest Problems For Small Business

The Small Business Tax

We created this infographic to raise awareness of an issue important to us and millions of other small businesses. We are a small business ourselves and we serve small businesses. So, for us, it only made sense to bring light to an issue, which not only places a major burden on small business owners, but also rarely receives the attention it deserves.

The business owners we hear from are in the trenches competing, devote their life savings to developing innovative products and services, hiring more staff, and otherwise growing a business for the benefit of family, employees, and community.

We are proud of our Theater by the Bay and the events performed on our stage year round.  The recent renovations and dramatic lobby expansion were undertaken for the comfort and safety of our patrons.

Community support has been incredible-- at the close of 2011, we brought down the curtain on the first act of the capital campaign that began in 2008.  Our most sincere thank you goes to all who through generous donations made this possible.

Waiting in the wings for the second act is a need to replace a few more important systems.  The fly system, now nearly twenty five years old and needs to be replaced with a more efficient, effective and, most importantly, safer mode of operation. For the hearing impaired, a new infrared hearing aid would make the theater experience more enjoyable.  The stage lights have seen better days as well, with replacements and repairs an ongoing need.

Please join us in supporting this Center, the iconic image of this tiny Montana village, that is so vital to our community.  Your tax deductible gift, whether large or small, is deeply appreciated and clearly needed. It has been said the The Show Must Go On, and in Bigfork that is especially true.

To become a supporter of The Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts, please contact Peggy A. Hinkle at 406-837-4885 or emailinfo@bigforktheater.org.

Thank you!

Spring Plowing On The Going To The Sun Road Has Begun

Spring plowing has begun. This is a picture from the road leading up to the boundary at Two Medicine. Even though it was a fairly light winter for snow, there is still an impressive pile to get through. We will be placing more photos as soon as we get them on our Flickr site. Check it out.
